The ICC T20 World Cup will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka this time. The complete match schedule has already been released. The first match is on February 7, 2026. Since India is the reigning T20 champion, all the teams will be keeping a close eye on Team India. It remains to be seen whether India will be able to retain its title or not.

The BCCI has announced the Indian team that will play in the 2026 T20 World Cup. Shubman Gill has been dropped from the team due to his poor form. It’s also worth noting that Ishan Kishan has been included in the team after a long time, and Rinku Singh has also been selected.
