However, before the shoot could even begin, an elderly woman approached Shriyanshi and started scolding her for wearing short clothes.

What Happened In The Viral Shriyanshi Video
According to reports, Shriyanshi was wearing a white top paired with black shorts and furry boots while filming a video about the stress of living in Bengaluru. During the shoot setup, an elderly woman dressed in a saree reportedly confronted Shriyanshi and objected to her outfit.
The woman appeared visibly upset while speaking to Shriyanshi in a regional language. Despite the tense moment, Shriyanshi remained calm throughout the interaction.
Translations shared by several media portals suggested that the elderly woman told Shriyanshi that short clothes do not look appropriate on women. She reportedly suggested that women should wear churidars or trousers instead of shorts.
However, the woman also clarified that she did not have a personal problem with Shriyanshi. According to the translations, her objection was specifically about the clothing choice and not about the influencer recording a video on the street.

Tanny later clarified that she was not filming any content and was simply walking to her car when the confrontation happened.
