B.Pharm is a four-year bachelor’s degree program that allows you to become a full-time pharmacist. Compared to a D.Pharm degree, it offers better career growth opportunities.

To pursue a B.Pharm degree, passing your 12th grade with a science stream is absolutely essential. Whether you passed with biology or mathematics, you can take admission in the Bachelor of Pharmacy program. Additionally, students who have completed a D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) can take lateral admission directly into the 3rd semester (2nd year) of the B.Pharm program.

To get admission in B.Pharm, students must have passed 12th grade with a science stream as well as if the student is completed his/her diploma in pharmacy. If the student studies from a government college, then he will be required to appear for CUET exam for central colleges and if he studies from a state college, then he will be required to appear for the state level entrance exam. You will need to keep all your documents ready; you must have all your 12th-grade related certificates with you and for the lateral admission you must have D.Pharm degree with you.
