A total of 1,92,220 candidates appeared for the examination, with an overall pass percentage of 16.57%. Candidates can now check their Scorecard, marks and qualifying status online. Level 2 recorded the highest pass percentage, while Level 1 PRT saw only 3.53% candidates qualify. The board has also completed biometric verification for most qualified candidates.

HTET 2026 Result has officially been declared by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani. Candidates who appeared for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test can now check their qualifying status, marks and Scorecard through the official result portal using their registration or roll number and date of birth.
The HTET examination was conducted on July 4 and July 5, 2026, for all three teaching levels. According to the announced data, a total of 1,92,220 candidates appeared in the examination. The overall pass percentage stood at 16.57%, making it one of the strongest HTET results seen in recent years.
However, the numbers also reveal a huge difference between the three levels. While TGT recorded the highest qualifying percentage, the Primary Teacher level saw a very low pass rate.

The examination was conducted for Primary Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers and Post Graduate Teachers.
- Level 1 – Primary Teacher (PRT): 31,402 candidates appeared
- Level 2 – Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): 99,896 candidates appeared
- Level 3 – Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 60,922 candidates appeared
In total, 1,92,220 candidates appeared for the HTET examination across all three levels.
HTET 2026 Result Pass Percentage
The overall qualifying percentage in the examination was 16.57%.
- Level 1 (PRT): 3.53% qualified
- Level 2 (TGT): 20.71% qualified
- Level 3 (PGT): 16.50% qualified
The biggest surprise came from Level 1 for Primary Teachers, where only 3.53% candidates qualified. In simple words, more than 96% of candidates could not clear the Primary Teacher eligibility test.
Meanwhile, Level 2 recorded the best performance, with 20.71% candidates qualifying for the TGT level.

How to Check HTET 2026 Result and Download Scorecard

- Open the HTET Result link available on the website.

Candidates should verify their marks, qualifying status and personal details after downloading the Scorecard.
HTET Biometric Verification Details
After the declaration of the result, BSEH also completed the biometric verification process for qualified candidates at district-level centres.
The verification process was conducted on August 10, 11 and 12, 2026.
A total of 31,847 qualified candidates were called for biometric verification. Out of these, 30,883 candidates appeared, while 964 candidates did not report during the district-level verification process.
The biometric verification is an important part of the post-result procedure, so candidates who have qualified should make sure they follow all official instructions carefully.

Candidates who could not appear for biometric verification during the scheduled district-level process do not need to panic.

As per the announced schedule, the OMR sheet download facility will remain available from August 24 to October 23, 2026. Candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹100 to access and download their OMR sheet.
