Woman’s ‘299.175 Out of 300’ Claim Goes Viral
Amid the ongoing protest, a video of a woman from Bokaro has added another layer to the online debate surrounding Jharkhand’s recruitment system.
In the viral clip, the woman claims that she had been preparing for JSSC and JPSC examinations for around three years and appeared for the PGT recruitment examination in 2023.
Social media posts circulating the video claimed that she scored 299.175 out of 300 but was still not selected.
The extraordinary claim quickly triggered disbelief and questions online, with users asking how a candidate could allegedly score almost full marks and still remain outside the selection list.
However, the score and circumstances surrounding her alleged non-selection should be treated as a viral claim unless independently verified through official recruitment records.
The video nevertheless gained attention because it emerged while thousands of aspirants were already questioning transparency in the recruitment process.
CJP Extends Support to Jharkhand Students
The protest has also received support from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), whose founder Abhijeet Dipke said he had spoken with students participating in the agitation.
Dipke said his organisation stands with Jharkhand’s students and supports their demands concerning alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC recruitment examinations.
The CJP had recently been involved in protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the alleged NEET paper leak, making its entry into the Jharkhand recruitment controversy notable.
